About Our School
Our primary school 'De Kleine Prins' is a friendly, vibrant and exciting school in Menen, Belgium, for children from between the age of 2,5 and 12 years old. We currently have approximately 370 children on roll.

Our school invests in children's rights through:
- a children's parliament
- a box with educational materials (e.g. games, statements, puzzles,...) about children's rights
- posters in every classroom that visualize children's rights

Our school invests in the environment through:
- the reduction of waist: we use tap water instead of bottled water, we have chickens to eat leftovers, ...
- usage of sorting waste bins: one for residual waste, one for plastic, metal and beverage cartons and one for paper and cardboard
- collecting batteries
- collecting bottle caps (http://www.dopjesactie.be)
- organizing days on which students can only come to school on foot or by bike/step/skateboard,... instead of by car.
