Our Little Prince flew to Haiti during the Christmas holidays in the hand luggage of Chris St. Julien to visit the children in the orphanage of Tysea vzw. The non-profit association Tysea has been the proud tenant of a house in Carrefour in Haiti since November 2013. In this house 12 orphans are taken care of. For Music For Life our school collected a nice amount for the benefit of this charity (which the students of our children's parliament have chosen themselves). The Little Prince will of course also be introduced to the fellow pupils in the school where the Tysea children go. Because going to school is very important everywhere in the world. We wish our Little Prince a nice time together with the children in Haiti.
Onze Kleine Prins vloog tijdens de kerstvakantie mee naar Haïti in de handbagage van Chris St. Julien om de kinderen in het weeshuis van vzw Tysea te bezoeken. De vzw is sedert november 2013 de trotse huurder van een huis in Carrefour in Haïti. In dit huis worden 12 weeskinderen opgevangen. In het kader van Music For Life zamelde onze school ook een mooi bedrag in ten voordele van dit goed doel (dat de leerlingen van het kinderparlement zèlf gekozen hebben).
De Kleine Prins zal natuurlijk ook voorgesteld worden aan de medeleerlingen in de school waar de Tysea-kinderen gaan. Want naar school gaan is heel belangrijk, overal in de wereld. We wensen De Kleine Prins een leuke tijd samen met de kinderen in Haïti.
