As you know, our school mascot, The Little Prince, travels around the world this year. Today, however, our students boarded the plane. During our immersion day they got the chance to taste the different continents and cultures on our globe. They discover, among other things, how the Maori in Oceania decorate their bodies, which sport is frequently practiced in America and how you can make African instruments yourself.
A fascinating journey, which can be made possible thanks to the many helping hands of the people in the culture workgroup. Thank you very much to all the volunteers!
Zoals jullie weten reist onze schoolmascotte, De Kleine Prins, dit jaar de hele wereld rond. Vandaag is het echter de beurt aan onze leerlingen om in het vliegtuig te stappen. Tijdens onze inleefdag krijgen ze de kans om te proeven van de verschillende continenten en culturen op onze wereldbol. Ze ontdekken er o.a. hoe de Maori in Oceanië hun lichaam versieren, welke sport in Amerika veelvuldig beoefend wordt en hoe je zelf Afrikaanse instrumenten kan maken.
Een boeiende reis dus, die mede dankzij de vele helpende handen van de mensen uit de werkgroep cultuur mogelijk gemaakt kan worden. Hartelijk bedankt alvast aan alle vrijwilligers!
